About me

I am a Marriage and Family Therapist with experience in treating individuals, adolescents, families and couples in California.   My focus is on improving overall mental health by developing healthy coping skills to manage depression, anxiety, relationships, stress, work/school stress, communication, and life transitions.  My  motivation to become a therapist grew from experiencing positive, life-changing benefits that therapy can provide in one's life.  My approach to therapy is, therapy is effective when we are able to realize our part in our struggles and the willingness to put in the work that will facilitate change.

My professional experience includes eleven years of experience providing therapy in community mental health, working with children, adolescents, adults, and families.  My areas of expertise include supporting clients with learning healthy coping strategies to manage depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, loss of a loved one, stress, job/school stress, relationships, and other mental health concerns.  I am continuously inspired by the courage, strength, and motivation that my clients have demonstrated in overcoming their most difficult life experiences.
